Here are the first of Cindy en Ben’s wedding photos. My apologies to them and their family for not having it ready as fast as I normally do!
Ben is a wedding photographer himself! The problem with shooting a wedding photographer’s wedding is that you want it to be perfect. And then things often don’t go exactly as you thought they would. Eeek! Maybe you will notice that their photos are a bit different to my normal style, because when shooting another photographer’s wedding one can’t help also trying to incorporate your own interpretation of that photographer’s style. Please let me know what you think, maybe it is time for me to broaden my style! In the end everything worked out great and I will have more of their images on the website soon.
What stood out on Cindy and Ben’s wedding day was the warmness and caring of friends and family. I got the idea that getting the two together and in front of the altar was a real team effort and that everyone close to them contributed in some way to make it happen for them. And Cindy celebrated her 21st birthday the next day! I hope Ben realizes that he will have to spoil her double each year. No shortcuts Ben!
I just had to include a photo of the beautiful flower girl, Megan. She was so easy to photograph and apart from the bride, the most beautiful girl there! I would love to shoot her wedding in 20 years time!
